If you weren't one of the 175 entertainment professionals (members and guests) that attended our 30th anniversary Nashville conference, then you missed a great 4-day event. You missed our 30th birthday party and one of IEBA’s best Conferences. Member Paul Moore, William Morris Agency, surprised us with a Birthday Party on Sunday, instead of their regular Brunch. Everyone enjoyed the Birthday Cake, Sundae Bar, Party favors and the Dixieland band.

L-R: President Carol Bowsher; Chairman of the Board, Don Romeo and Executive Director, Kymberlee prepare to serve the cake. IEBA Chairman of the Board, Don Romeo, (center), and IEBA president, Steve Tolman (far right) presented The Oak Ridge Boys with an oversized "Lifetime Membership" for raising $40,000 for IEBA’s Harry "Hap" Peebles scholarship fund. The group was in Nashville for Fan Fair.

You also missed our annual Awards presentations: The Humanitarian/Lifetime Achievement Award to the great Lou Rawls; the Harry "Hap" Peebles Founders Award to one our most dedicated members, Leroy Van Dyke; and the Living Legend Award presented to one of country music’s most beloved entertainers, Loretta Lynn. And, you missed the Oak Ridge Boy’s auction for IEBA’s scholarship fund.

Member Patsy Brooks bought the act for the 2001 Florida Strawberry Festival, Plant City, FL for a whopping $40,000! Way to go Leroy (Van Dyke) for a great Auction!

Our annual industry entertainment awards were christened with a new name, ALL ACCESS AWARDS (another Reggie Churchwell creation) and were presented by Comedian Dick Hardwick, to the nominees you selected.

Loretta Lynn, honored with the Living Legend Award, Gives Don Romeo, Chairman of the Board, a big hug.
