A full-time professional since 1986, Axtell has entertained and informed hundreds of audiences in the U.S. and overseas. AUTHOR Roger Axtell's first book, Do's & Taboos Around the World, A Guide to International Behavior, (Wiley, 1986) has sold over 150,000 copies and has appeared in six languages.
A second book Do's & Taboos of International Trade: A Small Business Primer, (Wiley, 1989) was declared "...the bible for those taking their show on the road" by Entrepreneur Magazine, and is also used as a textbook in colleges.
Roger Axtell's third book is Do's & Taboos of Hosting International Visitors, (Wiley, 1990). The fourth book is titled GESTURES: Do's & Taboos of Body Language Around the World, and will also appear in six foreign languages. (Wiley, 1991)
Roger Axtell's fifth book is titled: Do's & Taboos of Business Public Speaking, How To Keep Those Butterflies Flying In Formation (Wiley, 1992).
COUNSELOR TO WISCONSIN GOVERNORS Roger Axtell has served three Wisconsin Governors, and currently as Special Assistant to Gov. Tommy G. Thompson. He does this for a dollar-a-year.
