Teacher Training Expert

Pat McGeough’s 38 year educational career includes teaching at a prestigious Iowa private high school for 17 years where he served as English Department chairperson for 13. There he established a reputation as a respected educator, a successful coach and a master of classroom management. In 4 decades of teaching, Pat McGeough has never given detentions or referrals.

Later, Pat McGeough was recruited by the Waterloo Public Schools to help create and implement a state mandated Talented and Gifted Program which soon set the benchmark for other Iowa school districts. His next 10 years were spent at national Bellamy Award winning West High School.

During his Iowa tenure, Pat McGeough achieved recognition for touring thousands of students on exotic trips that ranged from wilderness adventures in Wyoming’s Rocky Mountains to international cultural trips through out Western Europe. His flagship experience was being invited with his students to a cultural exchange symposium in Moscow by Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev.

Pat McGeough’sexperience ranges from working with Gifted to At-Risk students. For the past decade, he has taught at public, private and drop-out prevention secondary schools in Central Florida.

Based on his student rapport, animated teaching style, novel instructional techniques and his true passion for the profession, highly respected Iowa principals have described him as: “A natural born teacher” and “A renaissance man with a love for teaching.”
