Before becoming a full-time speaker and consultant, Kevin Freiberg taught for eight years at the University of San Diego and San Diego State University, where he met his wife, Jackie. He received his bachelors degree in English literature and masters degree in speech communication from San Diego State. He also earned his doctorate in educational leadership at the University of San Diego.
