Identifying Marketing, Branding & Business Strategy Opportunities
Dan Veto has nearly 20 years of business experience in personal financial services and healthcare, with a particular emphasis on boomers and retirees. Mr. Veto helps clients to identify and fully capture the opportunities in branding, marketing, product development, and business strategy opportunities created by today’s significantly changing demographic landscape.
Dan Veto frequently provides keynotes on the topic of the changing nature of retirement and its implication for boomers. His thought-provoking programs have been presented to a who’s who of financial services organizations, including Merrill Lynch, HSBC Bank, Charles Schwab, and Fidelity Investments, among others.
Dan Veto has served on the Board of Directors and was Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning at Bankers Life and Casualty Company, an insurance-based financial services firm exclusively focused on meeting the financial needs of retirees. While at Bankers, Dan Veto initiated and implemented many successful, award-winning programs, including a program to enable the Bankers distribution force to sharply increase sales by raising their awareness of the emotional drivers of retiree purchasing behavior. Dan Veto began his career at McKinsey & Company, where for nearly ten years he advised Fortune 500 clients in the United States, Mexico, and Europe. He worked with financial services and health care companies on a broad range of business challenges from new market entry strategies to organizational design changes.
Dan Veto, who is multi-lingual, earned his M.B.A. from INSEAD, in Fontainebleau, France and his B.S. in engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Dan, his wife Lisa and their two daughters live across the San Francisco Bay in Marin County.
