Connie Podesta: If We're Going to Win This Race, We Need to Run in the Same Direction:Image-Photo-Picture

CONNIE PODESTA

If We're Going to Win This Race, We Need to Run in the Same Direction

Connie Podesta, CSP, can make a world of difference. She is an excellent keynoter whose general session audiences range from 20-10,000. It is not unusual for Connie to bring an audience of 10,000 to their feet after a dynamic look at the future in the morning, present a high-content session dealing with customer service in the afternoon, and deliver an unforgettable stand-up comedy routine in the evening. Very few speakers have the diversity and credentials Connie has in the corporate, healthcare, and education fields.

Connie is a comedienne/humorist who can motivate and inspire, but her main objective is to provide solid content and techniques that audiences can use to help them in their professional and personal life. She uses her background as an educator, actress, experienced TV and talk show host, author, family and marriage counselor, playwright, songwriter, and businesswoman to create an unforgettable performance. Her highly acclaimed book is titled: Life Would Be Easy If It Weren't for Other People. She also wrote How to Be the Person Successful Companies Fight to Keep, Self Esteem and the Six Second Secret and Positive Impact - a Professional Training Series. Connie is also a successful playwright and actress, performing her play Journey throughout the country. She is a writer and co-producer of her own inspirational song Together We Can Build a Better World.

For four years, Connie served as Director of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Director of Guest Relations at a large community hospital. As a national speaker, she has worked with hospitals and health care organizations throughout the United States as well as National and State Health Care Associations. She has created workshops for individual departments ranging from maintenance and food service to boards of directors. She has managed retreats and conducted programs that can be offered to the community at large, corporations, schools, and hospitals.

For 15 years, Connie taught students in junior high and high school classrooms and in three state university positions. As a national speaker, she has addressed thousands of educators and administrators, including both the National Secondary and the National Elementary School Principals Associations.

Popular topics include "Life Would Be Easy if it Weren't for Other People," "If We're Going to Win This Race, We Need to Run in the Same Direction," "Mastering the Game of Life" and "How to be the Person Successful Companies Fight to Keep." Also high on the list of her most popular presentations is "Journey--A One Act Play."
